There are a few ways to start a conversation in Webex App:

  • Go to Messaging Messaging button in the navigation sidebar, and click Add button > Send a message.

  • Go to the app header, and click Add button > Send a message.

    On web, to the right of the search bar, click Add button > Send a direct message.

  • In a direct message space, at the top of the space, click Create a new message with <person> and others start a chat with others.

Enter the people that you want to add to the conversation.

Type your message, and click Send Message button to send.
